Hi,

going Down South this weekend. Currently, the forecast appears to be for kiteable easterlies Sunday morning.

Anyone got any advice as to where to kite Dunsboro-Augusta in those conditions.

Thanks

I used to windsurf from Smith's Beach on strong easterlies, which blows sideshore, but is infact offshore to the general land mass. Still would be ok, just don't go too far out. The water quality is unbeatable there, and if there's a bit of swell, the bombies off the beach are a lot of fun. Supertubes would probably be too close to shore and thus too dirty a wind.
Launch as far down wind (towards the Southern Ocean) as you dare for the cleanest wind. I'l be watching for you on the news.
