Just a heads up that the rangers were out yesterday booking people who parked along the driveway to the beach, as opposed to the carpark...

Yeah the signs are there saying you cant park there on a saturday or sunday because its deemed a rigging area. I would say it should still be right to park there during the week?? Anyone copped a fine for parking there mid week?

Hi Guys,

The Ranger was back again today and booked another bunch of cars.

It isn't the rigging area that's the problem. Everyone parks along the access road which has no standing signs all along it. The circuit with the rigging area is only for weekends.

We are supposed to park in the car park further north of the toilet block, but with the amount of glass around on the road, it's cheaper to get fined.

Many were booked the other day. I say write a petition to change the laws until they can reduce the crime. Abesy got his window smashed the other week, took nothing but the hassle of having to replace the window and your car not being locked with the window busted sux, not to mention the cost of new glass

Dont just pay up, fight it! [}:)] It's a crap law.

Good winds,

I reckon a "once a year beach goer" got their nose out of joint on boxing day cause they didnt get a parking spot along the access road and rang the council. councils usually have to act if they have put the signs in. theres usually no dramas any other time of year.
