I'm seriously contemplating moving from Sydney, to take up a job offer in Dunsborough WA... Is it kite friendly, or will I have to travel huge distances to get wet?

Do a search - has been commented on before

Dunsborough largely crap as seabreeze offshore, but can be ok with morning Easterlies, and possibly ok in norwesters before a cold front.

Yalingup (20min drive) ok in seabreeze but sh1tty-gusty launch.

Best bets are:

- Margaret River (30 min drive) for waves
- Augusta River Mouth (50min drive) for flat as flat flat water
- Australind (60min drive) for flat water.

Regular seabreeze in summer months, but probably not as strong or consistent as Perth and further north.

You will be in the country so the above distances will not seem as far, and obviously great surf.

Does that answer your kn question???
