Help me out.

I'm living in Manchester England fro a year or two (Yes I miss Perth, yes I miss kiting, yes I'm mental, yes it's for a chick).

Is there anywhere within a 6ish hr flight between Oct - March that has warmth and good winds, I wanna plan an escape for a weekish.

Gimme the scoop on how the season work out around here.

Thanks. Enjoy the summer (I don't mean that)

try tarifa, spain. its only 5 hours flight from london to malaga, then 2 hours fanging in a hire car to tarifa.
you are almost guaranteed wind every day; its one of the most consistently windy spots on the planet, and the swell comes up in winter. the summer crowds will have backed off by then too.
PM me if you want some info on spots to stay etc.

Try a flight for 24 hours back to sunny Perth, get in a car and drive straight north for 12 hours. Get to a place called Sandy Bay, rig ya ** and proceed to go nuts for as long as you want.
Had it for 3 days outa 5 with a couple of crew and just love that inside butter smooth section.
Mmmmmm butter

Bit fkn cold today though eh?

Big up for Tarifa. But its not 5 hours from London just over 2.5 on Easyjet... or 3 hours from Liverpool.
5 hours gets you to Egypt and El Gouna
7 hours and your in Margarita (Venezuala)

www.waveriders.biz or www.planetwindsurf.com can sort you with good deals to loads of good places.

Late deals going for £300-400 for a week in Egypt or for £700 2 weeks in Margarita

RodBunny - Mint, cheers mate, I'll be onto those sites this arvo.

The guys are good to deal with as well.

Cant remember which ones I used for which but used both of them for El Gouna & Margs

El Gouna is cool if yer missus doesnt kite. 5* hotels for her, flat water and decent wind for you - too easy Plus diving on the reef on the no wind days.

Yeha, Tarifa was my first reaction. But anywhere in Yerp is 6 hours flight - could even go to Egypt in that time.

Could try greece (the Naxos wind hoon over the summer) but the girls are a bit hairy.

France, west coast is pretty good.

Even... Cape Verde - now that would be an experience.
