Not sure if you want to drop sixty bucks on a cap but the transparent (uv blocking) visor is neat

I watched it hoping to somewhat convinced, yet I still don't get it.

A hat that provides less sun protection?

A useful as invisible undies.

How does it stay on your head when you face plant into the water? Or maybe it doesn't....

The only cap you'll ever need. Just gotta replace it every time you stack!

Interesting idea with the transparent visor, but for sure seems weird they didn't put the eat flap/straps on there since they're marketing it for kiting and surfing etc. They say it stays on in the video but I'm not sure what's supposed to be keeping it there..

The O&E/FCS/Dakine style surf caps with the straps have become super popular these days we've got loads of people using them locally. I can't imagine many people going back to using a hat you lose every time you go through a wave.

She's all good mate, it "floats in the water". Who could lose a black cap almost completely submerged?

it is 'water resistant' and 'wind resistant' so presumably that stops it from coming off your head in wind or waves

but I am guessing a frenchman with $60k+ in his back pocket from a kickstarter campaign may not care too much if its not effective ?

Yeah, yeah nah.

I wear a cap from the $1 store under my helmet. Thought it might last a season, then I get another one. So far, it's been three seasons

Bonus feature is when I go in the water, the helmet no longer dumps the water trapped under the padding into my eyes...
