I say get out there and look, that's half the fun and I think one of the things the Filthy West captures really well, maybe Ryland knew where he was going but the rest of the guys I'd say half the fun was seeing what was out there. Added bonus is that you may just find something better, there are spots out there still people don't know. Good luck searching

Yep the search is half the fun, I found it but don't bother PMing me (anyone) all I will say is that the South Coast between Augusta and Esperance (and no doubt beyond) has some gems but for most of them you will need a good map/or goggle earth so you can figure out what might have potential for the given conditions and a good 4wd.

I have visited that spot a few times and still haven't got it that good, so it's not just about knowing where to find a spot but what conditions it requires to work well, tides, swell, wind direction etc.
I have had good swell wrong wind and right wind tiny swell, I reckon I now know the conditions required now so hopefully one day it will come together.
That spot looks awesome in the video but even then I'm pretty sure you will find that it wasn't just Ry that dropped his kite, the wind can get very gusty near the shoreline.

When I was there it was windy as hell and I couldn't kite on a 7... It looked like a great windsurfing spot though. It's also a sick spot to surf.

thanks for reply's. realise exposing the location is a tall ask. I would see it more as promoting the sport. encouraging people to visit the area. it will always be remote and only given to those who seek the wild places. road trip coming up.

peace to all.

I am yet to see a spot that has been improved by outing it or even worse putting it on the internet for all and sundry.

Not localism, just realism.
