Hey, some of you guys helped me out yesterday with some great advice on board size, really helping me sway my girl to a smaller is better board. So now I have to choices but not sure which will be the best choice for us.
Basically the two choices are a 2010 Jamie Pro 132x40 or a 2011 x ride 133x39 with sync bindings (both second hand & similar money). Because we are still learning but both staying up wind and me just learning to jump I would love to hear people opinions on what's best for us. We plan to continue travelling and off to the east coast next then on to NZ.

I am thinking the Jamie might be best but the X Ride might be better for a mixture of conditions!!

Any tips or advice on this would be great,

Cheers Toby

Are you planning to take of foot pads every now and than? If so, have a look at lock in screws and plastic they are locking in. Soon the plastic is gone.

It's a special screw for foot pads which ruins the plastic every time you take it off. If not taking off, all good:)

Jamie. It's a great all arounder that still has serious freestyle potential. Great board.

jamie pro definately. Its a good size and an awesome all round board. No spray in face and goes upwind very nicely.

****minus the syncs. They suck.

North footstraps are market favourite. Comfy as and rarely come undone. Unlike the syncs which are a pain. $100 a pair and you got yourself a nice set up.

I've got the original North 2010 pads, the plastic is wearing off because of this lock in screw every time I'm taking it off. It doesn't lock in any more on inner position:(

Also, on some 2011 models they've changed pads from 2 screws position to only one which sucks. And they do not provide inserts...

Had both, Jaime is a better board, more modern and a better allrounder.
