It's double rip stop ... Same as the Switchblade and most other top kite brands. Great canopy material.
Really? Not from what I've seen sunshine. I had an FX drag over some ROUND rocks and rip, there went the canopy. Yeah maybe bad luck and could have happened with any kite but I took a piece of it and compare it with an older Slingshot piece of ripstop and it's not double, I can assure you. Same micron width of 25u (0.001 inch). That's just advertising spin mate.

, your wiki reference is 10 years old (minimum), which is like an eternity as far as plastics/coatings/fibre technology goes. The cloth that Cab kites are made from is a completely new cloth developed specifically for Cabrinha kites, by a very large cloth manufacturer in Asia, Cab have used that cloth now for at least 2 full seasons. Saying its like rice paper and then using a 10 year old wiki reference sort of says a lot about your opinion and bias against this brand.
