We regularly submit posts continuing to advise people NOT to deal with these scam artists who still regularly manage to suck people in.
They are NOT legitimate companies -- they do NOT even have any kite gear -- they simply set up web pages with pictures of legitimate products, suck people in to thinking they are getting a great deal, take your money and instantly disappear.
HOW MANY TIMES DO WE HAVE TO SAY: "IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS".
Here is a classic example:
error.alibaba.com/error404.htmDO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE OR OTHERS LIKE THEM.
These people never have nor ever will have a kite to sell but they WILL take your money.
If anyone has sent money to these or other crooks and lost your money, I would suggest your make a formal complaint with the Indonesian Embassy in Canberra, providing the bank account details where you sent the funds, as well as making a formal complaint to any associated entities (e.g. AliBaba).
We are in the process of putting up a warning on the NSWKBA site to warn members and suggest the other State Associations should do the same.
Support your local kite shops. They work hard for the money you give them and you know where to find them if something goes wrong!
