i have also heard rumor of the nats being held in bundy 2 weekends before easter, im sure someone will be on shortly to verify that tho.

are they going to make an officail release of dates and such soon. thats quite soon!!!

Yes the Nationals are going ahead for Elliot Heads in Bundaberg from March 7-11th. The location should be all time as anyone who has ridden there will know. I spoke to the council today and was confirmed that they are more than happy to have the event and it will be approved on monday night at a council meeting. I will push to have te AKSA website updated. www.seabreeze.com.au have also come oboard as the event online partner so you can expect all the latest news on here as i comes to hand and coverage of the event as it goes down.

Judges, accomodation, transport info will be also posted here in the near future.

Hey Guys,

I know it's getting tight for time but the entry foms will go up tomorrow along with further details with more to come.
Regarding the obstacles, there will be a few kickers there but they wont have a big affect on the actual freestyle event. There will be a best trick style event focusing on the kickers and space permitting they maybe within the main event are but they wont be judged especially or any different to the normal water tricks. Mike Walker is penciled in as head judge as Julian Kidd is overseas on the dates. The judging team should be finalised in the next few days as should the judging criteria. You can assume it wont vary much from last year and previous events.

Sponsors are being signed up as you read this, first to jump on board have been Cabrinha, Slingshot, Ozone, Seabreeze.com.au, Kiteboarder Magazine alongside the local council.
