Friends,
I currently have a single kite quiver (9m crossbow). I can get going on it (have fun, jump, small tricks etc) from around 15 knots and I can still hold it down in just over 30 knots, although it is less fun after the wind goes above 25 knots as I have to run the kite well depowered. I have used this bow now for 18 months and I LOVE it.
However, recently I tested an 07 Fuel, and I was blown away. This is not a review of Fuels so I won't go into detail, but I have made the decision to switch.
So my question for all the Fuel riders out there is this:
What Fuel quiver should I aim for? Here are the requirements:
Wind: I ride all over the place, but 95% of riding is in wind that ranges from 15 to 30 knots, while 80% of riding is in wind that is from 18 to 22 knots (i.e. that is the sweet spot I ride in most).
Locations: I ride a variety of locations that include flat water and waves.
Board: I ride the latest 122 FLX, but will likely go to a 128 FLX.
Weight: I am 56kg.
Level: Confident rider, spins, rolls, transitions, grabs, some board offs. Have been doing some kite loops and attempting unhooked (not good on the bow). Looking to get more into bigger kite loops and unhooked maneuvers.
I guess I want to be able to cover the 15-30 knot range, but have a kite that is in the sweet spot for me in 18-22. Cost is obviously a factor for me! Should I go with a 7+11 quiver? Or do I need 7+9+11? Should I start with a single 9 and add the others later? Would it be cheaper for me to buy the whole lot in one go? Could I get away with a single bar/lines for my whole quiver? Is the 07 that much better than the 06 or could I go with the 06 kites and save a lot of coin? I like the 07 bar setup more - could I go with 06 kites and an 07 bar/lines set?
Does anyone have an 07 quiver that they want to sell to me?
Long post I know, but any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Justin
