I took the GALAH'S advice and used it ALL over - now the swelling has gone from everywhere ( I'm only a " Little Man " you know )


NOW back to the real world - got some BOWEN treatment today and with the added help of Voltaren Rapid 25 I can get the leg on the ground. Having another session tomorrow - fingers crossed for Thursday as I would really like to get into the big Sou'wester.

Glad to hear of your impending illness.... not every day you can say something like that without without it being taken the wrong way. Appears we'll be having a 'sick' session on Thursday (sounds like a Lakemba version of 'fully sick'instead of illness)

Yarra...????..Dolls was the place today, 8.45am 2knt, 9.00am 10knts, 9.30am 20+knt...yippy, was well and truely lit on the 12. A good fledging of the Brighton Boys were out playing, and The Galah might have been out ruffling his feathers too.... not sure, i heard alot of bird screaches.....!! Can anyone verify!!!!

Dolls was OK today, well as good as dolls can be in a SW'er. I slipped in and out around lunch time without anyone noticing me. Lucky the tide was pretty low otherwise it would have been even more choppy than usual. The wind was slowly backing off when I was out - so thankfully no feathers were lost. Even after I stuck a small galah sticker to my kite a few weeks ago no-one has noticed it - yet - let the hunt begin!

Hey CJ - get well soon buddy - stay off the water till we get some decent (clean) wind, otherwise you will be our launch biatch for this summer season...

No worries Kitcrazzzy - its a Sydney thing - with the lousy winter winds we've had so far its a wonder that we haven't hit 20 pages .

I believe that a certain person now feels like a GALAH after leaving his brand new FLX128 on the beach at Dolls yesterday.And having to call his big mate CJP to rescue it for him.

I was'nt scared about loosing my board.... I was more worried about Ricardo finding out...never gonna hear the end of this one... damn Galah couldnt keep his big beak shut ! I could be wrong but was it the board that one pump says he was eying off ? If not, Ricardo would like your number.

BOWMAN....Sorry Col....If your refering to style of kite....Bows have there purpose...!!!(Not sure what it is though..just defending my turf)...However if you want to give me a go on a real kite...I'm more than willing!!! Would like to know what all the hype is about...My only comparision would be, driving a car without brakes....which strangely enough sounds a lot of fun!! Wouldn't mind getting those quads pumping on a big C...Kite...p.s if you look closely at the trailing edge of the galahs wings.....you will notice the concave cut...i.e BowBird...

Missed you at the KKK OC,s meeting on Saturday. Hope it wasnt the injuries that kept you away. Howz the recovery coming ?

Picture this - Its about Midday today ( Sunday ) - a couple of Cockatoos - Ricky Ricardo and CJP are sitting on the sand at SUNFLOWER SEED BEACH across the road from GALAH CASTLE - ( Ricky Ricardo's house across the road from the beach at Kurnell )
The discussion is about setting up the contests for GALA GALAH DAY to launch the Summer season in the Bay and to build membership of NSWKBA.

We are mapping out a kiting course when Ricky Ricardo says " Geez - the bloody Nor'easter is coming in - look at that windline " - now kiters -remember that the BOM forecast was for some north wind - but only about 5kns. We slug down the remaining drops of the cold ones we were greedily consuming and walked to the beach edge - Strewth CJP says - " we might get a kite out of this "
At this time a couple more hopeful kiters arrive at Sunflower Seed Beach. No mucking around for Paul - after quickly telling us that car salesmen suck, he gets his kite , pumps up and before you can say " GALAH on the Bay " - he's out there. By now six more kiters have sniffed the breeze and hover around Ricky Ricardo's compressor air hose , keenly waiting to pump up.
No time to waste says I - bugger waiting in line for the air hose - its pure physical effort that will get me on the Bay - I was also inspired to do the manual thing because Ricky Ricardo had earlier told me he had just rode 20plus ks on his bike in his endeavour to be fit as a malley GALAH for the Summer season. - Nothing like the physical exertion and fitness achieved by pumping up you own kite - hey kiters.

Anyway before you can say " last one on the Bay is the GALAH " I'm out there on the Silver Bullet - my 18m 06 Rhino.

Four and a half hours later I gently lower the Silver Bullet into the hands of a fellow kiter who has also enjoyed the delights of this unseasonal NE beauty. Where this wind came from - who knows and who cares - IT WAS FANTASTIC - blue sky , bright sun , capping blue water and wind that was definitely more than the BOM history suggests and steady as a rock.

I counted sixteen kiters plus Big Pete teaching his mate on the beach.
Well satisfied we are and as keen as GALAH'S on mustard seed to get into the Summer winds - why would you want to live anywhere else other than in GALAH On The Bay territory.

AH but here is a question - WAS THE GALAH THERE OR NOT ?????

Nobodys interested in the babble you go on with. Why don't you all take a big jump off a high cliff and leave the forum to people who kite and dont spend there whole day writing crap. Anyway everyone knows cjp is the galah so whats the big secret.
