I ventured out to the cess pool today to see if there was any improvement but all I saw were some pretend kiters struggling to stay afloat in the bog hole.

Your Spain trip sounds fantastic, especially some of the views up the gorge!
Interesting to hear its 3 to 1 flat over C, some would like us to beleive otherwise but when all the majors have one this year, even the North one that came from denial in Egypt.
I've seen pics of tarifa it look too busy for me, but the spaniards seem to love a crowd.

Unbelievable wind in Tarifa. Its reputedly the windiest place in Europe. They have basically 2winds . East called Levate whick blows 30 to 45 kns and West called Poiente which blows 20 to 30 kns. Wind is non stop. No wonder stacks of dvd's are made there. You can kite all the time. Beach is 10ks and there are thousands of kites. We are such a small sport in OZ. Plenty of good guys though. Women kiters are everywhere. Great lookers. Amazing to have half a dozen of them come scooting past, bouncing away. Plenty of topless kiters and saw my first nude kiter. 20 something girl got hammered and when she walked out of water all she had left was waist harness.I think she was Brazillian , if you get the drift. Bikini was floating down wind. They don't care though. She spent next 20 minutes fixing her equipment , butt naked. The Euro's loved it. Didn't mind the view myself.

Biggest kite I saw and used was a 9 crossbow. Mixed bag of kites there. Probably 3 flat kites to every c kite. Everyone talks flat kites.

I'm racking up some more bucks and going back asap.

I have been told by a reliable source that CJP or Col as all kiters on the Bay know him is in fact the GalahOnTheBay, he actually confessed ans admitted it.I am officially calling the Galah hunt over as Col is the Galah.

Man Tries to Smuggle Bird Eggs in Undies

SYDNEY, Australia (AP) - A man caught with six eggs from endangered species in his underwear as he was preparing to fly to Bangkok was fined 25,000 Australian dollars ($20,000) Monday by a judge who rejected his claim that he only wanted to surprise his girlfriend.

Wayne Frederick Floyd pleaded guilty in February to exporting regulated native specimens without a permit or exemption, an offense that carries a maximum 10-year prison sentence.

Although Judge Martin Sides called it a commercial venture, he said he didn't mandate jail time because the eggs had come from a collection of birds at Floyd's home and hadn't been taken from the wild.

Floyd was about to board a flight from Sydney to Bangkok, Thailand, last November when a customs officer frisked him and noticed a suspicious bulge around his groin, the New South Wales District Court was told. A strip search revealed six eggs hidden inside a stocking in his underwear.

The judge rejected Floyd's claim that he was trying to take the eggs overseas "to surprise his girlfriend."

Two of the eggs never hatched. The others contained two gang gang cockatoos and two galahs, both listed under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species, which includes species facing extinction unless trade in them is controlled. A galah or cockatoo egg can fetch tens of thousands of dollars when sold overseas.


PS: I ALSO ONCE THOUGHT THAT COL WAS THE GALAH. I'VE BEEN WITH HIM ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS AT THE BEACH WHILST AT THE SAME TIME THE GREAT GALAH HAS BEEN POSTING. I WISH IT WAS, BUT ITS NOT COL.

Mr Wandaful... great spotting on your behalf of dodgy characters in Pink helmets and matching tights... I nominate you as our local inspector for dodgy undesirables.

Now that you're on the job, might I draw your attention to a character of concern whom often hangs around our local water hole. He is often seen mincing around with a cute little white fluffy dog which is dreched in womens perfume.... you can smell it from 20 feet away. I suspect his bright yellow bows are some sort of a statement also. Yeah, you know the type... perhaps you could shed some light on said questionable character. Note: I am not referring to the guy who also has a big black dog named Shep.
