Noisey - We will be organising the Southern Sydney Kiteboard Club " signup night " for early February. There are still a few behind the scenes admin issues being cleared up and then we will be ready to roll. The amount of interest being shown lately about the Club formation is quite high so I anticipate we will have a strong membership.
I have been talking with quite a number of kiters about the type of event we could have to kick the Club off and to date there is a lot of interest in a jumping contest - if you think of the BIG jumpers on the Bay including blokes like Rich Stenning, Moritz,Pommie Rich,Sean Phillips, Poshy, Mike Anderson,The Captain,The Menace,Danza the Naishman and Big Pete from KKK -who lately has been nailing some monsterous jumps at the groyne near Ricky Ricardo's place( sorry ,I know I missed some but being an old bastad my memory fails me regularly )then you can see it would be an entertaining day and would be a great spectacle for the general public punters watching it.
As soon as G-Money gets back from WA we will get to work on the first meeting.
