Does anybody no about the quality, pros and cons of a 2007 14m Gaastra Kite, i know of one that i can get my hands on for $300 bucks, it is brand new and has been sitting on the back shelf for the last 2 years. It comes complete with bar amd lines, i am tempted to grab it as i know a mate is wanting to get started and weighs around 115kg and is wanting to start.Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I had an 03/04 Gaastra Stealth. It was a very good kite. Progressive bar and safety for the time too, and tough.

They are very good kites overall and very popular in Europe but very few in Aus which will probably account both for the cheap price and people's suspicion of the brand - which is originally Dutch and rock solid IMO.

Sounds like a good deal to me, it's just that you will probably struggle to get parts/back up locally.
