Can you view the gopro over wireless while it is recording?

Can you view the video via wireless if the camera is underwater?

I believe so for the first question (not 100%)

No for the second, wifi will not work through water, i have tried using the wifi remote while i was canyoning once and every time i would submerge the camera in water the remote would cut out and send the camera bat ****, tested it in a bucket of water when i got home and no connection was possible

first question is yes but it is slightly delayed. The second one I was hoping would be yes but if not I guess the remote won't work in the water either.

... not sure if GoPro use the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz frequency but at that frequency, it doesn't like water at all (from memory indoor range 30m, outdoor is roughly 100m) so is basically shorted straight to ground so goes no where!

There is a new firmware upgrade that has improved a heap of things and you can also now take stills while videoing and you can also download video back to your phone, ;)
