Looks good for a nor-easter today (maybe), hopefully gonna get out for a quick lunch session on the new ALLIANCE (they arrive today!)! Maybe see some of you out there, probably hit Narr is it's got north in it, or longy if it's true NE.

Apparently last night was pretty good up here - NE with S swell: very disappointed to have had to work late :-(

Newcastle went off yesterday evening, the wind was picking up as it was getting darker. Had to put the kite down while I could still see it. Good two hour session, would have been six if I didn't have to work. 22-25 knots.

Hopefully we will get our Alliance demo today too?
Yesterday was awesome in the Bay of Plenty, got to 25knots late in the afternoon, averaging around 20.
Hovered around 15's for ages before it finally kicked in, some of us went over to the sailing club for a feed and beers, what a near perfect day!

Bring on another one!

Cronulla was tops as well. Plenty crew out smashing it. Four foot sets, sunshine and cross off- perfect- except taking a 14m out instead of my trusty 9m-oops.

Well it wasn't really sick, but enough to get going and test the Alliance. Very impressed, better than I remember. I found that I was the only one going up wind, and was also able to wave ride down the line, normally hard to do in such light wind. turning speed was really good, faster than I remember. I think it may have just made my quiver expand a little.

Hope you all got out for a quick one! maybe it will still come in?

Regards,

JB
