Today for once is good news day. I have finally had my Stolen equipment returned. See original post below.

"Hi all,

I am new to kite surfing and been addicted for a couple of months. This morning I went to my ute as usual and found that my Kite & Board had been stolen. I live in Point Cook Vic. The Kite is Red / Black & White. This is a 2012 model yet has 2011 Lines attached to the bag so a different safety system etc. The board is the 2012 Haze. I really can't describe the thoughts i have for the low life scum who has stolen my much loved kit! The board has kite republic stickers on it with a kite republic lost and found sticker that i hadn't got around to filling out, there are no marks on the board at all and it is as new. The pump which was attached to the green bag is a White Naish pump also with a Large Kite republic sticker on it. If any one at all comes across such items for sale please let me know as i cannot afford to replace them and would love 5 min with whoever took them!"


Thanks to a few individuals going above and beyond my equipment was recovered by the local police. Without going into too much detail they charged a guy and all my kit was returned to me.

I would like to thank those involved and am not going to mention any more details than that. you know who you are.

This is a great result and goes to prove if we stick together as a community we can achieve the results we want.
