Does anyone know the actual kiteing location for the event. The GG website says on the river by Mcallam Bridge, but ive heard on the grapevine it may be held at cottesloe beach, if there's a seabreeze.

Is this true, and come the actual day of the event is their anyway to find out?

I'm kinda curious myself.
I guess we'll all be told exactly what the deal is at registration tomorrow so I'll try pass on the info here tomorrow.

Rego is Wed 1100 - now extended to 1600 due some late overseas arrivals. I will make a call on site and start of comp after registration closes - if forecast is ESE for Thurs morning (as it is now) then we will start early @ South Perth. If/when it swings S we will move to Cott Main Beach. Sat & Sun Main Beach Cott is not available so N-NW-SW-S winds will be @ Dutchies. We have to have everything finished and be back at McCallum Park for presentations by 3pm on Sunday.

We have potentially 3 times as many heats as last year to run so we cannot afford to waste any time/wind - so some heats may have to be run in less than perfect conditions - such is life in competitions - we would like a result so that riders get a chance to take home some good prize money.
