Most skiers I know either a) already have tried snowboarding or b) don't have any desire to snowboard.

Hang on a sec though, the top picture of the article has been shopped!

So it originally read:

Skiers are better than snowboarders are better than skateboarders are better than rock stars are better than gods

i think your interpretation skills are out.

you are thinking of the > / < (greater than less than symbols)... these are clearly arrows ->
in order from worst to best. you can tell by the inclination of the line up.

Serious questions of awesomness that is!

p.s. Realistically all that an activity log would prove is that I am the undeniable multi-tasking champion of the universe.

Well I did ski's and carving board but I quit before I hurt myself 10 years ago.. I know a ton of people with serious injury that did as radical skiing as me... Racing can be brutal on your body.

Now I just take it easy kitesurfing lol.

i reckon this article is born out of 90s hard copy action sport magazine editorials interested in spreading their own financial agenda (ie losing paying consumers to other sports) cleverly infecting the vulnerable and it seemed to work at the time. I think even tracks fully bagged kitesurfing in about 2001 and that was the day i stopped buying it.

Nowdays fortunately with internet having media control there is less central influence due to the media of all those sports being so spread out and without that dumb influence WAY more multisport riders taking advantage of the weather conditions /seasons on the day. WAY more opportunity to check out other action sport videos and respect what they are doing at teh top level - all good.

I like riders like NZ's Dan K. An avid bodyboarder in the right conditions but who just happens to have previously been nat champ at surfing, longboard and sup! nuts...

to top it all off i see this kid rollerblading grinding the mini , then he takes his skates off and jumps on a skateboard and crooked grinds a 5 step handrail first time - i cracked up laughing.. times have changed!

Nothings changed dude, there were always people who were multitalented aka bi-winning... Only thing thats changed is that little kids don't get beat up enough anymore, so they clog the f@cken skateparks with scooters and think it's alright and even "cool". Thats what's up.

I dont condone beating up anyone, but you can't deny it's part the reason why kids are f@cked these days... No respect. when I was at school, if you were giving **** to an older person they gave you a hiding. These days no one is game to give anyone a touch up, not even parents so kids run wild... teachers are completely useless to.
This actually crosses over to the skate park. Parents bring their kids down to the park on there silly little scooters to roll around. Ok, I don't mind them using a facility but they need to follow some general rules, show some respect, right of way etc. They know nothing and constantly just ride in circles gettin in the rode... It is partly the parents fault for taking them there, they should really know better and just take them to a flat bit of concrete like a basketball court or something. But it is also the fact that older people used to tell kids what they should do, where to go and if they didnt follow the rules, chances were they got a bit of a hiding. Now kids don't respect older people at all because for the majority of them their is nothing to fear. In-fact it wasn't to long ago bikers were afraid to go to skateparks because they would get beat up... Times have changed...

p.s.
Have we really created a better society by enforcing and creating more laws? Aren't they meant to be the things that protect us? Rather ironic isn't it.

^^^yeah, the world really sucks now that you can do what you enjoy,at a PUBLIC skate park, without someone who thinks their better, beating you up.

^^^^^^yep,,and it wasnt long ago a black person was afraid to walk into a local pub because they would get beat up.......Times have changed....
FOR THE BETTER

If people enjoy doing what they do ie,,skate, bike, scooter, Why dose it make them less worthy to do it ,than what you do?
And why does it worry you so much that you need to tell everyone on the interweb???

I'm not condoning bikers getting beat up at all, i think you are missing my point entirely.

Obviously you have never experienced what I am talking about and have no understanding of it. As I said I don't mind kids usuing the facility of a SKATEpark (yes a skateboarding park) for whatever purposes they want. BUT, they need to follow the rules, follow the flow and the chain of command.

To put it in simple terms for you, how would you like 50 boggey boarder kids to show up while your out surfing and just swim around in front of you and drop in on you and wreck every wave? They make the break unuseable for you and you have no option of moving somewhere else. Or a more serious situation; How would you like getting beat up and mugged by a pack of minors if you go out at night, because they know their is no harsh discipline for their actions? (this is a reality in some places)
What would you do to fix this problem? is a small amount of physical dicipline an ok alternative if nothing else seems to work?

I don't know the answers to be honest, but I do know what is currently being done isn't working.

Enlighten me to the answer.

p.s. At most skate parks bikes are actually prohibited from riding It is even written on the signs there usually. Hence the reason some skateboarders wuld get angry at them. Besides the obvious fact that they wreck the concrete and copping with their pegs and wheel bolts.

You are back peddeling,,this was your answer to the problem.^^^^^

Your said the problem is little kids dont get beat up enough anymore and think they are cool.
Back in your day, you probly thought you were cool,,,,mabe just an age thing.

Maybe getting too old to hang with little kids in the kiddies skateboard play ground anymore,,, I bet the kids parents must be thinking "Whats this old dude hanging out here for"

Im not back pedaling at all, kids don't get beat up/ diciplined for stupid stuff enough anymore. Whether it's by there parents or someone else.
Obviously this is only in the rare cases where nothing else seems to have an effect. And they don't need to be hurt, just "shocked" if you will and put in their place.

Back in my day I didn't know anything, I was deffinetly a kook, I still am now, but at least I know how to co-exist with people and show respect in the real world.

p.s. Yeah and I'm thinking what are these clowns doing in a SKATEpark... Perspective is relative.

Get real. I'm not worried about anyone doing anything, people are free to do what they want. Life is as long as you make it.

I think you are the one who is getting old, you are obviously going senile if you think that todays kids aren't more of a problem...

p.s.
I saw an 12yo kid smoking at the skatepark threatening other kids with a knife the other day, when I told him that he should probably put it away so he doesn't get busted he offered to stab me with it... I politely told the little carnt that if he did that I was going to rip it back out and shove it up his ass. Guess what, he put it away.
Anyway, point being is if you think there isn't a problem with some of todays youth you're living in a dream world.

Should beat up little kids more I guess, thats the answer[B)
Maybe thats why kids carry knives,,,cause you tuffies beat them up if they scooter in the skate park and think its alright or cool even.
