"Lies" is a bit strong...its called a prediction, so they aren't always correct...I never take these predictions for granted. The best thing to do is use other sites in conjunction with seabreeze...use BoM and windfinder (which is based on BoM).

Also, on the day use BoM for actual recorded data.

Ok i agree that it is just a prediction but even when i have looked on seabreeze to see current wind speeds, then driven down to melville (1 minute away) it is still wrong??????? Sometimes it says 20kts i go down and it is not even 5!!!???

The real question is,if Laurie changes all the wind graphs to show 25 knot green arrows for tomorrow all around australia, does he have a big enough power that the wind gods will agree with him and supply them??????
If so,I think we would all be happy to give him a carton each.Just think Laurie, free beer for the rest of your life!!!!!
Or dont you have the power

Some reading to give perspective...

www.seabreeze.com.au/Articles/Miscellaneous/A-history-of-weather-discovery_1216853.aspx

Hope this gets you interested in reading synoptic charts...

www.seabreeze.com.au/info/wind.asp

.. and you can't beat the beaufort scale for estimating wind strength using the environment...

Enjoy ..
