Hey
Im considering getting an 06 fuel soon but wanted to find out the latest on the chicken rope problem. Has SS fixed it yet? If so, do all the kites come with the new setup??

I bought a Turbo Diesel last month and it had the faulty bar that wears the rope too quick. Slingshot (via the shop) have already replaced the bar with a stainless steel (i think) insert. This has definitely reduced the rate of wear to almost nothing. I have also been told I can probably expect the rope to be replaced, even though its only a bit worn.

they sure have. the original bars would wear out the chicken rope after about a dozen sessions and they have know fixed it with a stainless insert. and if you have the original bar you can go to your retailer and swap it for the new one . dan feel free to have a go of mine at the wave comp on saturday. you will be stoked with the kites.
