Hi,

I'm staying at Burleigh Heads for some weeks and I've kitesurfed Currumbin and Miami for the past week.

I've gone down to Hastings Point a couple of times whene the wind has been off on the Gold Coast ... but I was the only one there ... how come?!

Yesterday the wind was cross-on, the waves were big and fairly clean and I was the only one out there?!

I must admit I got spooked by all the birds - thinking that alot (!) of birds fishing must mean many little fishes ... could mean big fishes?!

How come noone windsurfs or kitesurfs down there?
