Hey Joe,
With the Shift bar (actually Naish Bars) the lines should be all be set equal when the bar is fully powered (i.e. unhooked with no depower pulled on). If your lines are out by 20cm then there is something wrong, check that the adjuster strap is fully released/powered. There in adjustment for the back lines under the floater (foam) on the back lines. The bar usually comes with the back lines on the middle setting as standard, and there is a longer and shorter setting either side. Is this a new kite or a second hand one? Check through these and see if anything stands out. Feel free to msg me if you wish to discuss in detail, or take your bar back into your dealer as if you purchased from them, I am sure they will help you tune your bar correctly and safely.
Good luck,
Safe kiting.
regards,
JB
Thanks JB for your advise!
This is a second hand kite. I had just one go until now and it flew really terrible! I'll definitely give a try on the tips you gave and if still looks bad I'll take to my friends from Kite Addiction!

Joe
