Haha!

The forecasts are right, it's the weather that changes!

Also depends what you mean by "right". Regards WA, if you were on Rotto, then the forecast was 100% accurate. If you were standing on the beach in Swanbourne, it would have been wrong.
The forecasts are updated every 6 hours, and if the Easterly comes on a little stronger in that time and keeps the seabreeze out, then that's weather .. it is allowed to change.
Predicting the weather relies on readings from many heights in the atmosphere, and from offshore (100's of Km's) conditions - i.e. it depends on ships and weather buoys floating in the area reporting the conditions (and that's only on the surface, not 500m up in the sky)... then these values are interpolated to create surface charts, and the forecasts are drawn up.
I urge everybody to learn more about weather, there's a primer at
www.seabreeze.com.au/info/wind.asp .. that way you can apply your own personal bias on whether to cancel that wedding engagement...

Have a great day .. Laurie

p.s. Did you know that if you click on the 7 Day Forecast image, it takes you to the synoptic charts?
