While - as a shop owner - Ive never done it..... never would....
I would have thought a $0 listing on SB is pretty obviously an item that is needing to be sold but one where the owner (shop or private) is simply looking for offers. U have gotta be totally brain dead to think it means its going to cost nothing (FFS)

If its a shop trying on a scam then they are stupid...but whats the harm. One msg or call & you will be onto it & can swear at them to ease your disgust - AND never call them again AND tell all ur mates never to call them as well (so not so smart for a shop).
Otherwise you might just end up getting the kite u want for the price u want - shop or private.
With just one contact being the decider why should anyone complain. Complaining takes more effort than checking it out. BS can be smelt a mile away.
Read the text. Ive never taken much notice but Im guessing a $0 listing would usually have a 'give me an offer' message in there somewhere - esp if its a genuine seller.

We might know "$0" means offers but if any retailer quotes that price then they legally have to offer it for.

Heres another fun fact. If a retailer sells a demo product that's out of warranty for below cost to move and it becomes faulty (at your doing but shop cant prove it...) within 3 months, you're still entitled to a refund / replacement

from a shop owner (for now at least) YEP definitely.
And if its brand new superseded - by any no. of models - at any buy price - the factory warranty is still valid.
(and if they dont like it they are not a shop u should deal with)
