Its Winter and Its W'bool So probly not a lot
Im just an old expat returning from paradise for a brief visit on the way to the big white mountain - looking to max out the hometown party opportunities. Been back in winter before & may as well not have bothered so thought I'd put in a bit of preparation this time round.
Looking to meet up with at least a few of the local kiters so thought an exotic vid night of WA's best would serve as a gathering post. Reaction has been awesome. A few Melb. dudes looking to come down for both the vids & hopeful of a kite on the weekend as well. The rest is just my own 'ham-it-up' hype with the possibility of arranging a weekend session or 2 over a few ales on Thursday night.
I dont even know local kite spots (yet) but working back thru surf & diving experience I'm reckoning that killarney would have to offer some huge cross-on flat water space with some beginner waves on the outside thrown in
Whatever Thursday night is going to go off for the locals - Fireaway 2 as well as the Nationals as well as Gravity games, not to mention the free giveaways etc, will make sure of that - anything else is just a personal bonus.

I have put an order into hughy for wind and swell but can not guarrenty either. Just in case for those of you who are comming down and surf, packing your board will be well worth it. Had some epic sessions on reefs close by

I am glad things like this night came to regional areas, as i am sure locals will support it and you never know we may even unleash some secret bool weapons on you educating city folks(not myself though) not unless a speed bump needs to be put in the road of some crew
