I'm heading up to the Whitsundays for a week
is there any kite surf equipment hire places in airlie
I would even settle for a wake board
It's too much drama taking the board

Theres no wake or kite shops in Airlie, you cant kite anywhere at Airlie. Closest place is Bowen, you can kite there. You can wakeboard off Hamilton Island I think... probably expensive though.

I was down Airlie beach this time last year. There was a hire mob down at the beach that took me out for a wakeboard behind there jetski. They also had cats and other water craft for hire. no kite gear thougth.

you can kite at conway beach. but its not the greatest beach.
