On the topic of wave kites. Why do u want the kite to turn slower in the waves? My bws 10 meter turns wayy to slow for the winds i use it in and then the 8 and 6meters are perfrect.
So It doesnt pull you off your board without a lot of finesse on the bar. The 10m BWS can be fast enough, just adjust your hand position to the end of the bar, but kiting down the line in light winds sucks, as theres no apparent wind to keep you going, the 8m and 6m are sick for that, as youve mentioned. The 10m however does drift very well in light cross shore winds. go down the line at 10-15 knots and youll overtake any kite on the market. I hope this helps.
In cross-onshore get a wave that is peaky, so you can go straight to re-tension your kite, rather than a speed run wave.
