Thanks, I liked it. Made a lot of sense.
The bottom line of the text is cut off if you show the control bar, ie to stop it, and the 3 dot point text went a bit quick for me.

Make more!

Thanks for sharing will def give a try before season ends. Can you elaborate on how speed effect the loop? Better to go fast or slow when learning?

Were you? were you really bored? Or just stole my idea while i was at work?! lol not bad, not bad. Us guys from BBK (wallis1986 included) plan to make a few more vids with all the footage we have gathered in the last year or 2. post them up here soon as we make them

The faster you go the more power the loop will have and slingshot you up higher and downwind more. Just start with enough power and speed to do a clean pop off the water. Too slow and youl most likey stick to the water and just get pulled over the board. Too fast and you will probably give yourself a scare When you go higher than intended lol.

That's enough out of you Angryphill. I might have to do a board off over top of you next time your body dragging and " accidently " drop the board. But yes, cant say it was entirely my idea lol.

Awesome vid Wallis, can't wait for the next few ;)
I'd like to see a darkslide grab tutorial if you had the vid for it?

Frothing on all that power in that loop, it looks sick.
I prefered learning this move on the 12m in lightish winds and throwing the loop on the way down from the roll as it took me a while to not get spanked when throwing it when you are in the vid. I noticed you were on a dice? and I'm pretty sure they are much more fun when the wind is up a bit so that may be the reason for you preferring the 9 for learning?
Once again - sick vid - thanks!

Thanks pattiecannon. Im actually on a 12m vegas most the time there and the last clip was on a 9m vegas. I find the grab is alot easier with the 9 as it loops faster without as much effort so my front hand is free. But on the 12 if i try the grab sometimes dosnt loop as cleanly which usually results in a kiteloop backslam. But yeh the smaller kites require a bit better timing and can tend to give you an unexpected spike in power. Also can definately do a darkslide one sometime too, my mate has started doing darkslide backrolls so can add that to the end of it also

The way I approached this trick was to go into a normal back roll transition, try and keep your kite at 12 until u fully spin around 360 degrees. Then pull hard on right side of bar. kite should loop. It wont catch you but the fall isnt bad either. You can gradually start to loop your kite earlier once you get better and better.
