As i am interstate on Sat, i just went to an early polling station and cast my vote.

The location of the early polling stations can be found at www.waec.wa.gov.au

It took 2 seconds, there was no line and I didn't have to prove that i was going to be interstate.

Effectively anyone can vote early.

The important point here is that if you are in any doubt that you can't make it on Saturday, GO VOTE NOW. Avoid the lines and waiting time.

Oh, and I voted "YES".

Yep, Tina and I voted at the Airport on Thursday too on our way over to Syd.

Come on DST. Has anyone heard of any early results?

Cheers,

I know I wrote this message in another thread however this is IMPORTANT to all us kitesurfers so a double post was called by me!

Peeps, download this YES image. When opened scale to 400% then print out on a colour A4 & pin up around the office or where ever suitable.

Remind everyone which way to vote on Saturday!! its a big day.

On Good News Week there was a brilliant joke about the WA DLS referendum.

It was something like: "this year, WA votes on DLS, next year they plan to hold a referendum on whether chicks should vote."

How did you like channel 7's effort.
A whole half hour show of meaningless uncoordinated gabble just so they could show three hand picked, ridiculously marginal pieces of supposed research which told all viewers how seriously bad DLS was for our :- 1)BODIES 2) MINDS & 3) POCKETS.

Great balanced reporting channel 7. NOT
Bluddy disgusting and an insult to viewers intelligence from the one sector which does loose out.
Less people sitting on fat arssses watching mindless crap costs ratings and advert $'s.
Another great reason for voting YES imo.
