I just registered here as I couldnt find any talk about a downwinder i read about with the monkey kites? And maybe I can ask more questions about my kiting mistakes so it's worth registering!

Does anyone know any further details on this? From what I can see its 2 weeks of constant downwind from Queensland to Sydney!!. OMG this looks awesome. I have only been doing this for a short time but I surely thought such a big (event?) would be mentioned in this forum.

Whats got me is that it looks like they give you their gear to use :)

But anyway, is anyone doing this?

yeh its true hey. im going along but not actually in the downwinder. You do get free gear because the sponsors are paying for it and in return they get huge logos on the kites
