Hey all, just getting a group together of int-advanced riders on the sunny coast... Keen to start sharing lifts for downwinders and surfing new beaches instead of always just at Cottontree (which rocks by the way, not dissin' it, just keen to go to new beaches).

We have a good group of beginners to int going but when the surf is pumping like today, it would be awesome to have another car to go do some downwinders... I haven't done one yet... and dare I mention it, a night kite some time when I have bought my shark repellant :)

Of course the mandatory cold beer is included

Feel free to contact me on 0406346789 or email me through seabreeze for more details!
Cheers
Oscar

Howdy Oscar,

Always up for a downwinder. Usually do the Kawana stretch, but similar to you I am always up for a change of scenery. Unfortunately I am mostly limited to weekends or days where the surf and wind is really really good. Mobile is 0419171348.

Cheers,
Simon.

Weyba would be a good night kite location wouldn't it?

Nick took me there last week and I had some good, if gusty sessions while the rest of the coast was a washing machine. Till he broke his board anyway - serves him right for jumping higher than me.

You couldn't get into too much trouble there at night. Just stop and stand up if needed.

You wouldn't be able to see the gusts coming though, so might be fun waiting for them to hit.

Will be doing down winders on both days this weekend normally from Mudjimba to Yaroomba (wind permitting) - we have all been kiting for 2 years+ normally about twice a week so I guess we would be intermediate to advanced

I have both your numbers so will give a call this weekend. Simon, I work in Kawana and finish at 4pm and hate trying to get back to Mudjimba after work for a session. Would you be keen for a couple of sessions after work next week?

I have a couple of injured friends at the mo so need some more contacts.

Mark, I think the broken board was coming - better than a broken leg...

Cheers
Nick

Hey Nick,

Mike mentioned I should give you a call while he is out of action. Can you pm or sms your number? By the by any idea how he is going?

Usually I am limited to weekends, but will be instantly available for downwinders in epic conditions.

Cheers,
Simon.

Hey Nick, will be keen for Sunday for sure, maybe Saturday as well if it rains and I don't play cricket! What time do you reckon on Sunday as we are going to head to lake Weyba around midday with our group for an afternoon of kiting and beers etc.
