Just wondering if anyone knows of any reliable (if that exists) wind forcasts or updates for inverloch and/or sandy point? Been on the BOM site but wondering if there is anything better out there?

I have had the same trouble.

With no forecasts for the area, Every time I end up down there it is blowing its T**s off.
Just take a small kite with you as you are almost guaranteed to get wind and usually too much

Last time in fact just a few weeks ago the BOM was showing 13knots in Phillip Is, half an hour away at Inverloch it was 30knots and 35-40 at Sandy ( someone went out on a kite that was no bigger than 4m ).

Was a bit much for my 12m

You can also get current wind and weather forecasts off the weather buoys located out in the ocean. The site for these is

www.buoyweather.com/map/south-australia

This should give a bit of idea what is going on down that way.
