THE WAY THINGS ARE GOING WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO HAVE A LOOP INTEGRATED INTO THE KITE SO WE CAN PADLOCK OUR KITES TO A TREE OR SOMETHING WHILST WE LAY OUT OUR LINES AS IT MAY BE GONE BY THE TIME WE GET THE 20-27M BACK......

But if you have a recipe for a system that works please post the details - been trying to design something for ages.
Expensive alarm systems obviously of little help.

My thoughts weren't for anything hi-tech - although I have seen an interesting system developed in Sth Africa when they had a spate of carjackings - just press a button inside the vehicle and flames shoot out either side barbequeing the assailant

I was thinking more of a low-tech, leave a board on the beach and hide behind a dune/car (be careful at Swannies tho) !!! But maybe you could rig up a stick of jelly superglued to the board with some long cordite and say - sayonara

To make a complilation DVD of people's best home kiting videos would be great.
It will take someone time and effort though - need someone with a lot of patience and hard drive space.
