Hi guys I'm sure these questions have been asked before so I'm sorry but I'm new to this sport and I was wanting to know what kite I should be looking at getting? I'm 184cm and about 108kg. I have flown a kite a few times before and I'm going to getting a few lessons as well. Was thinking about getting a secondhand kite to start with so if anyone could give some good advice on what I should get for my first kite, board and harness that would be great. Also what are the difference between kites? eg. bow kites and C kites etc. Thanks

This'll get you started.

Generally, its suggested you get lessons then get gear. You know more before buying gear and you trash your own gear less this way.

Any other questions, just check the thread above then try the search function at the top of the page. Welcome to Seabreeze.

It might be a good idea to make a page like this sticky. What do you guys think?
