Does anyone know where you can buy a Kite cam set up to attach to your kite?
If anyone can help i'd really appreciate it.
Cheers

The Go Pro is OK however the battery life is shocking. And the quality isn't that great. Saying that they have released a new 5MP model with may be better. For you tube quality this will do the job.

Yep, there is a temporary "sold out" worldwide on Cam Rigs. Not available through the US store, and they've got none for us either.

They're moving to a new manufacturing system, and there's a bit of a lag between crossing from one system to the other.

Just got word of improvements in the new Cam Rigs:

- it will fit pretty much any compact digital cameras, including Pentax Ws, Olympus SWs and the latest waterproof model on the market from Fujifilm.

- the adjustable leg system will be more compact and user friendly with numbers to remember your settings,

- it will have holes to access the power and trigger buttons,

- it will be easier to attach it from the side in a helmet-cam configuration for instance.

Or just buy a cheap camera case, cut a hole in it and use some velcro tape to attach it to the strut. (See the non-advertorial article www.seabreeze.com.au/Articles/Kitesurfing/How-to-take-photos-from-your-kite_1945086.aspx)
