Careful guys,
Your'e starting to scare me, the last time I saw this kind of hype up a paedofile got mobbed in a shopping centre. I see this hype every year.
Heck! I was like that in my early days!
Be careful that you don't become the mob that rocks up at my local beach screaming along the sand 60km an hour in your haste to "GET OUT THERE MAN!", narowly missing several local oldies walking their dogs.
Geraldton is perfectly calm all this week and no change into next, absolutely EPIC surfing conditions.
Wildflowers are starting to spew bits of colour into the sky and the spring frocks are starting to be more abundant.
The first round of big insects are starting to appear, heralding the change out of winter.
The winds will be here soon enough,
I can still remember what the first week is like when your body is screaming at you as the muscles adapt to the demands. The sheer number of kiteable days outstrips the time and physicality of the fear of "missing out".
I have a fair idea when it's going to epic, and I'm quite content to prepare myself for that time and enjoy being in touch with what's happening around me. Including the boss's questions. As I'm going to need his understanding and support in about seven weeks from now.
There's a lot more to life than kiting, and a lot of life that will enhance your kiting. It just depends on where you choose to focus.
