I seem to remember someone (Kitehard?) posting that both kites were picked up and returned.

yer a fisherman found them and came down to pinaroo with them he had also untangled all the lines

but yes the kite were returned!!!

Would be a highly qualified kite bitch then. Hard to come by, get a contact number by any chance. Would be good for kite expeditions hey.
