Glad to meet you,
There are heaps of kiters on the Northern beaches. Just head to South Narrabean on a NE or Longreef on a S SE day. If you are farther up, Palm Beach is even better on a NE. If it is flying weather, I know you will find people out there. If at Long Reef, don't practice in front of the lagoon, go south a bit to stay away from the swimming area and out of the way of the main launch area. Many of the locals have gotten there IKO certs even though they do not teach, they just wanted to get the training when it was being held close by. They can give you good instruction and tips for free.
Lets hope that the summer winds start to get a bit more consistant.
If you really want to see what it is all about, find a way down to Mambo next week(24-27th) as lots to do and great way to meet people at the parties in the evenings.

Are you old enough to get in to the pubs?
