Hey all,

Ive just recently got into kite surfing, im only a beginner and have just managed to get a hold of getting full contoll of my kite. Ive had a string break on me and it was gunna cost me $160 to get 2 new ones as i was told you must replace 2 strings to avoid the new string stretching and becoming longer than the other. just wondering if anyone new where to get hold of some stings for a better price. Cheers!

Mate of mine got a set (i.e. 4 lines) of Ozone lines from Kitepower for about $130.00-great lines.

if they break you can tie a knot in them, just use a figure of eight type. their a stonger knot.

...which is exactly where they will break in the future, probably while your in the surf or 1km from shore.

Do not compromise on such an important aspect of your gear.

As the guy at the shop said, replace both line with new (I don't think you should have to pay that much, the price quoted sounds like a 4 line set.)
