Hi everyone.

I have a 15cm gash in my SB3 and need to get it repaid. I was going to take it to the sail makers in Sandringham and then descovered Quantum sails (in Mornington) that is an hour closer to where I live on the Mornington Peninsula (Rosebud).

Quantum sails being a sail maker, they would do just a good of a job than any other sail maker.. right?

Has anyone had any repairs done by Quantum sails?
Was your experience with them good or bad?
Are the repairs they do to kites good quality?
Are they very expensive?

Any overall info on them would be appreciated. I'm looking to take it up soon today so need some suggestions.

Thanks.

You'll probably find that the Sail makers won't repair kites, I know weird but true in most cases.

Talk to your local shops they'll be able to recomend a good repair shop to you

I've had a few kites repaired by a local sailmaker (North Sails). As long as its a canopy repair they will do a top job of it - easily as good as a kite repairer.

If its got anything to do with the bladder, i'd leave it for the proffessionals....
