Hello,
I have ya standard rip from leading edge to trailing edge.
Quite happy doing the sail repair, but i have also managed to snap the string in the trailing edge.
My question is this, what do ya do about the string?
Do i have to unpick the whole seam and replace the complete string? or
Can i do some kind of clever knot thingy?
Or maybe just stitch over it
It does seem to be stitched over between panels, instead of being free from tip to tip.
Anyways i would be happy for any input
cheers

Had the same thing happen a few years ago got the repairer to put a patch all the way along and wrapped over the trailing edge and stitch through the string ,kite has been going strong ever since no issues.
