Does anyone know if there is any kiteboarding done on inland lakes in Victoria I will be spending a lot of time up there soon and I want to continue learning to kiteboard.

In particular the following lakes:

Waranga Basin
Lake Cooper (if it ever fills up again)
Greens Lake
Lake Charm
Kangaroo Lake
Lake Boga

Rob S emailed me and I gave him a fairly detailed answer.
he replied with a brilliant map of Greens Lake.

the simplest thing would be for you to email me and I will forward you the whole thing.

be wary of blue-green algae on lake boga. the water can get really toxic.
charm is hard to launch and land at if you go from the yacht club end because of the palm trees but from my scratchy memory if you go towards the caravan park there is a clear grassy area near the boat ramp.
also the wind will often shift completely without warning up there, so dont go too far from shore. and look out for red squalls

Thanks to all for your input. Tony, I will send you the second map of Greens Lake with the corrections you provided.
