Fancied hitting albany for the easter weekend, anybody know of any good (pref flat water!) kiting spots.

Getting a bit sick of the wind in Bunbury (or lack of it) and want to try somewhere different. Unless there's anywhere else thats looking good for the weekend - Lancelin not looking so hot either.....

Thanks

Supposedly the only really viable flat water spot is in front of the yacht club on the southern side of the harbour. I wasn't game enough to kite there as the wind was only marginal when i was last in Albany; oh and apparently a few of the yacht club people don't like kiters.

I was really tempted to head out on the northern end of Goode beach behind where the little island is, but lack of wind prevented that plan. Only decent session i've had in Albany was on Middleton beach in a mostly onshore wind.
