G'day Critta,

Just got back from there two days ago. Was there for 10 days all up.

Was windy the whole time!!!

There are some really cool spots on Kauai, flat water and waves. Best if you get a car on this Island and make sure you take your own gear. There are no rentals on this island. Actually its hard to find any rentals on any of the Islands. I stayed in Kapa'a which is pretty central and the cheepest accom I could find.

I got over to the main Island Honolulu (not sure what the island is actually called) you don't need a car so much here unless you want to get up the coast of Kailua. Kailua is a cool spot to cruse around. Got talking to a fow of the locals and the siad there was better spots up further.

If you want anymore info let me know.

Cheers

Can rent in kailua but will have to show you can kite first. There's a couple of vans with gear on the parking lot Hawaiian Water Sports is one, call them first, Naish kailua is another.
Three main sports in Oahu is kailua (safe), Kahala for surf but watch out for heads, and mokes on the north shore surf.
