I'm scared that if Alex comes to Melbourne he'll try kite Albert Park lake or the Yarra river and get kiting banned here.

Must have been a pretty slow week up there ay... hahaha.
I can remember kitesurfing in the eaarly days in puddles like that at the pass, thingss werent as hectic back then and usually pretty windy so there wasn't anyone on the beach.

yeah, but we know what councillors are like. They'll ban Altona because someone kited at Albert Park lake.

As for Sydney - I am sure I have seen a good number of kites dropped on the road / powerlines due to folks kiting in puddles

Remember kiddies we were all kooks once upon a time...

got a great video on creek kiting, uploading tomorrow

it's funny, if anyone is not kiting in deep water and with a popular inflatable they are all kooks???

how boring ??

lets all get a tattoo !!! I want to de different too ??

I agree, looks like fun, that's one of the best things about kite surfing, being innovative and kiting wherever you can, snow, land, water! As long as we keep it safe, the world is our playground!

yeah. but when it's only 1 knot it can lots of fun and a really good way to teach the basics .
