I love kiting in winter. But yes, alot of it is a waiting game. Watching and waiting for things to change. But when it does kick in it`s usually a whole new experience.
A word of advice, do not venture too far out. Things can change in a matter of seconds, not good when you`re a few hundred metres out and the kite drops out of the sky with no wind at all.

One good thing about winter is you can get some good early morning sessions, wich you seldom get in summer.
