Best time of year for those light winds (jun-aug right)....?? and is it possible around there. We have an opportunity to stay there in a friends house. Any kiteschools I could contact? Probably not right, too light to bother?

I stayed there for a couple days nearly twenty years ago..

there was wind enough to get moving swiftly on a catamaran

but we ended up just hiring bikes and racing around the island

Hey Eppo

I had 10 days there in July this year. There wasnt anything greater than 10kts for the whole 10 days. Still a really nice place to visit and was a fantastic family holiday but sadly not a kite surfing destination

Yep I'm getting that from my searches, cheers fellas. Might be a tourist holiday to drum up some leave points I think.

That's the plan after Christmas...anchor does her Australian open ladies only trip, mid to late jan builds excess leave points
