Hi Guys

I'm from Singapore & am really keen to pick up kitesurfing. I'll be heading down south to Perth for a break end Oct, and looking forward to pick up a beginner's course. Would appreciate if any kind souls can give me some advise or point me to the right direction to a good school or instructor.

Also, as I'll be putting up in the city, where is a convenient place, with shallow waters to start off the learning?

Thanks in advance any inputs..

CHEERS!

Hi Garion,

If you are staying in the city itself, your closest instructor on the river would be Windesigns (Ian Young). Mob. +61 414 716 812

He's a good egg and uses a jet ski on the river.

Cheers,

KH

Only go to a school who have radio in their helmets and they can talk to you while you are in the water.
There was a big argument here about this issue and I'm sure I will get a lot of red thumbs here today but I just don't care.

Super generous of KH but he's got an excellent school and spot too (I learnt there), may be a bit too far north for you... check out their website, good tips / gear there too and they've always been keen for a demo.
